It is our pride to say that neurology department is the first Superspeciality department in Kanyakumari Govt Medical College. The department was started in the year 2008 with out-patient and In-patient facility. Apart from patient care services we are engaged in taking clinical demonstration classes for undergraduates and MD, Gen medicine postgraduates. And due to continuous efforts, we now have full-fledged department with all facilities for patient care and academic activities. Department of Neurology has grown to become a postgraduate specialty department with annual intake of three D.M Neurology/two MCH Neurosurgery students per year that trains residents in DM Neurology.
For the past 18 years, department of neurology has been serving people from all walks of life with exceptional healthcare, serving the people not only from the Kanyakumari district but also across the state.
